How Clubs Affiliate

Friendship New Zealand Incorporated (FNZI) is an independent organisation in New Zealand that was established in early 2015. Clubs that want to affiliate with FNZI are very welcome.

Organisation

FNZI has a governing Council of five elected District Councillors who can inform, mentor and advise clubs without compromise to either, i.e. clubs are autonomous and responsible for their own decision making; clubs have access to the FNZI District Councillors, Centre Administrator and the Webmaster via the 0800 number or email; the FNZI online database does not require names of individual club members; member clubs receive regular news updates.
FNZI is a service centre providing support to, but fully recognising the autonomy of affiliated clubs.

Benefits

FNZI would make welcome any New Zealand Probus club/s or clubs for retirees with similar goals wishing to apply for membership and affiliation. Affiliation with FNZI gives access to services and support and provides benefits to its members.

FNZI member clubs receive; a $10M public liability insurance, 'Associations' insurance cover, access to discounted travel insurance including PEC's (pre-existing medical conditions), Highlights, a quarterly newsletter full of interesting articles and photographs submitted by member clubs.

The current annual affiliation fee is $3.50 per club member, including Life Members. This amount covers:

  • Maintenance of affiliation information,
  • Public Liability Insurance,
  • Associations Liability Insurance,
  • Preferred access to Travel Insurance,
  • Provision of a regular Newsletter,
  • other support services from FNZI, including member information on this website and its Online Directory of Clubs.

Our Centre Administrator will process your application as soon as possible and contact you to complete the application process.
After completion you will receive a Certificate of Affiliation (if requested) and a Username and Password to login at this website as well as further information as required.
